A wise old friend (yes, I do still have a few) asked me once whether I knew the difference between Heaven and Hell...
This was his suggestion as to how we would know where we are:
IN HEAVEN:
Cooks are French
Policemen are British
Mechanics are German
Lovers are Italian, and
All is organized by the Swiss.
IN HELL:
Cooks are British
Policemen are German
Mechanics are French (but I still drive a Peugeot??)
Lovers are Swiss, and
all is Organized by the Italians
Oh, I nearly forgot - and Tony Blair is President of Europe...
